My name is Ryan Reid. I’m a designer who’d rather be an illustrator, and author of the widely unknown children’s book Wrenched.

I grew up on a fruit farm drawing comic art and day dreaming about the vastness of the universe. I followed that with over 20 years in a cubicle designing shit I don’t really care about and thinking about the absurdity of life. My writing is often wry, and sardonic, and I like to think also optimistic.

I’ve been a designer for over 2 decades, but really only ever wanted to draw things. So I self publish a zine called Survival Anxiety Comics & Stories to showcase my original comic art and short-short stories. It’s also widely unknown.

I’m currently working on myself, but if this all turns out to be a weird fever dream because of that muskrat bite when I was 14, I may not bother.
